COUCH MAN
Couch Man is my in-progress, full-length feature documentary about the downhill skateboarding scene in Asheville, NC.
It focuses on a few folks who helped Asheville grow from a small, dying community to the contemporary capitol of the sport. I shot, directed, and am currently in the process of editing Couch Man. It explores themes of dedication, ambition, death, friendship and more. It’ll be a little while before it’s complete, but in the meantime, here’s a very early teaser trailer.
